About Manny Scott
Manny Scott is one of the original Freedom Writers whose story was told in part in the 2007 movie, Freedom Writers. Today he shares his authentic, inspiring messages of hope with millions of students, educators, leaders, and volunteers.
Be Reminded of Your Why
People entered education because they wanted to make a positive difference in the world, but many of them are tired. They are tired of having their self-worth tied to a score on a test; tired of politics, tired of being under-resourced, tired of being blamed for problems they didn’t cause; tired of being overworked, unappreciated, and underpaid. Many of them are starting to wonder whether they matter, whether their work matters, whether they are even making a difference. With tired, heavy hearts, many of them are seriously thinking about walking away from education.
Join Us After the Event for a Therapist Meet & Greet

The Meet & Greet will take place at Language & Literacy Academy for Learning, from 12pm – 1pm (immediately following our Back to School event.)
